On behalf of the Harvard Business School Asian American Alumni
Association (HBS4A), we are pleased to welcome you to the 2005
"Prizes & Pitfalls: Investing in Asia" Conference. The conference
provides an exclusive look at the opportunities and dangers of investing
in Asian markets- organized by one of the newest HBS Alumni Clubs with
global reach and membership in the highest echelons of business and
government.
This highly interactive event will focus on the tremendous economic
opportunities throughout the Asia region. Although the content will be
geared towards investment professionals, asset managers and
entrepreneurs, it should be of interest to all HBS alumni and others
interested in the long term investment outlook on Asia. This event is
limited to 200 participants and is expected to sell out, so please
reserve your spot by registering early.
Through keynote addresses by legendary investor Jim Rogers as
well as numerous topic-specific panel discussions, the conference aims
to address the key issues and trends relevant to venture capitalists,
private equity investors, entrepreneurs interested in Asia. Attendees will have the opportunity
to gain insights from, pose questions to and network with leading investment
professionals representing a diverse group of firms, markets and Asian geographies.
Through this event, we seek to foster the close ties between the Harvard
Business School Asian American alumni community and practicing venture capital, private
equity and investment professionals with an eye to participating in
the recent Asian boom.
