Jim
Hildebrandt

Jim Hildebrandt is a Managing Director of Bain Capital Asia, LLC.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Jim was a partner with Bain & Company. He
joined the global business consulting firm’s London office in 1986 and
has worked throughout Asia for the last decade. He led Bain’s Private
Equity Group in Asia and worked with private equity firms and major
corporations on many of the largest acquisitions in the region.
Jim has an M.B.A. from Stanford University, graduating as the Henry Ford
II Scholar. Prior to joining Bain, he worked as a lawyer in Canada with
Bennett Jones. He has an LLB from the University of Toronto.
Jim has published articles in Asian Venture Capital Journal, World Link,
Equities Quarterly and Business Solutions. He has been quoted in The
Wall Street Journal, The Asian Wall Street Journal, Asian Venture
Capital Journal, South China Morning Post and Asian Business. He is a
frequent speaker at a wide range of business forums including the
Harvard Asia Business Conference, the IBC Conference on Corporate
Acquisition and Buy-Outs and Business Week’s Avaya CEO event.
