Overview
As of mid-2000, over
3.6 billion, roughly three-fifths of the total
population of the globe, resided in Asia. Six of the world’s
10 most populous countries — China, India,
Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Japan — are located within the
Asian perimeter. Asia has a huge land mass and a growing
population with many opportunities. But it is also a land of huge risks.
Get it wrong and it can be really expensive. Our panelists will discuss
what has worked and what pitfalls to avoid to tap into the growth of
